If you’ve worked with Live tiles in Windows Phone – you may know about it’s limitations. For example, on the primary tile you can only specify title, background image, count (can be only int data type), icon. It also doesn’t allow to have a custom positions for icons / text on the tile.
This article shows a workaround to overcome these restrictions and create a custom layout tile for you application by rendering a User Control to a bitmap.
