I am devloping a WAP site for the norwegian company Net Fonds. I am currently having som trouble with getting the Nokia 7110 connecting via SSL to our wap server (Apache with modSSL). The phones times out an returns to the page with the link. Using another wateway reports "Could not connect to site".
AUR WAP 1.1 (for Palm) times out and reports: "General WAP related Error.(100)"
I have bougt and installe a certificate from Thawte and using the https:// link in Netscape returns the correct page. (But only as a download, the mime type is set correctly). Non-SSL pages renders OK.

it's normal you have this answer because your wap gateway does'nt support secured transactions for wap (wtls).
There is a few solutions: find a gateway which can support ssl (nokia for example), check if your mobile device can support wtls, or use the trick of make registry the users before they connect to the wap site, so they can buy without sending their credit card number.
