I've been trying to create a GPRS access point and use it to automatically connect to the network without any selection window. I tried using CApDataHandler and ran into difficulties i.e. missing header files. Is it possible using the Symbian SDK 6.1 to create an access point or are we just wasting our time? Is there any way of getting the CApDataHandler class to work? Can we get the missing header files from somewhere?
RE: Trying to create a GPRS access point
It seems that ApEngineVer.h is missing (and etelgprs.h).
I made a rough workaround by commenting lines in ApDataHandler.h and ApEngineConsts.h that include ApEngineVer header file.
I know this is very rough and Nokia won't suggest us to do this. But it seems this issue (missing header file) happens so many times, and response is very slow. So I'll stick to this first before they provide those header files in a newer sdk.
By the way, perhaps these missing header files are available in SDK v1.0. That's a huge 128 MB (download only) package and I still don't have it here.
