I have recently purchased an N96 and no later than one week of having it, it constantly reboots. (not from time to time) the second it powers on and I have the dashboard in front of me, the phone reboots, it gives me about 10 seconds of time to go through menus or press any buttons, but then it reboots again. It is not a battery issue, I replaced it.
I hard formatted my phone and called the number listed on the site, and was told that It would be necessary to send in my phone to Nokia to be repaired. The only problem I have is this: I purchased my phone in Paris, and I am now working in Casablanca, Morocco, after speaking to the technical support representative, I was told that the serial number of my phone indicates that it is a Spanish phone, and the only way I would be able to have it repaired would be to send it to Spain. Now to be able to fill in a repair form, I would have to do it on the Spanish website. I do not speak a word of Spanish, is there a way I could fill in the form in English and get the shipping information in English so I could send it over to Spain to be repaired.
Also, anyone with a similar problem who may have solved it, please feel free to share, because I am going insane as I now live and work in Morocco, a place where nokia is not represented, and the only repairs i would be able to get would ruin my warranty.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: The first time this happened, it constantly rebooted for a while, and then i hard formatted it, after doing so, the battery was dead (as in gone forever), and it just happened again, thats 2 batteries gone now. Any Ideas?
