I'm now using tomcat 4.1 (opened at port 80 only)and i have installed the WAPpush.zip into the tomcat. I can have correct response using Internet Explorer(i.e. i typed the http://myserver/e3/ and a index.jsp downloaded).
But when i connect to the same page in the 7210 emulator and also in series 60 emulator, it simply said "page not found"
Then I have written a simple wml file(index.wml) and a jsp file of contentType="text/vnd.wap.wml" and put them in two servers, one is my tomcat server (http://myserver/index.wml)and the other in the hostage webspace(http://mywebspaceoutside.index.wml). I can browse from the latter but not the first one using 7210 and series 60.
It confirmed that my tomcat can't give response to the 7210/series 60,so what can I do to solve the case as I can only connect to my server in the final product(connect to http://myserver/index.wml). Thanx
Besides, I use URLname translation software no-ip such that my ip is translated into a specific name and my ip hence is visible to internet. So I don't know what's the problem that other internet explorer can see my age but not my 7210 simulator....

re:(urgent)install WAPpush.zip in tomcat and browse using 7210/series 60,but no respo
Wich kind of wap-protocol are you using?
Are you using a Nokia wap simulator?
If your answer to both questions are yes, that could be the answer. I've been trying to insert in a database from wap, and discovered similar problems.
The wap protocol 1.1 can't (In my experience, please correct me if I'm wrong) support wap push. You can only link.
In order to be able to update the db from wap we integrated the wml code in our jsp code. But discovered that Nokia toolkit can't compile jsp code.
