Yes it does. Please note that you can only use MWL methods to process the event.
Appendix A has list of supported events for elements.
At least for it does not work. Just tested it (again), on device it works as expected, but in the emulator nothing happens. Not even the onlick event (have both attached) is fired on click.
BTW, is it possible to change the behaviour of the browser to interpret the first click as focus and fire the onclick only if you click an already focused object?
