I just want to discuss a rejection that I receive for a Series 40 web app that uses Nokia browser 1.5:
Comments from the QA team:
ISSUE #1: SUMMARY: There is a link to download a new version of Nokia Browser page displayed when launching the application.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Download and install the content.
2. Launch the application.
ACTUAL RESULT: After successfully downloading the Browser and lanuch the application, there is again a link to download a new version of Nokia Browser page displayed when launching the application.
EXPECTED RESULT: Features and controls in the content file must function as specified.
AFFECTED DEVICES: All devices.
FREQUENCY REPRODUCED: 100%. (public, Qa in progress -> Qa failed)
It this logic? The link to download a new version of Nokia Browser is not part of the application, it is a default Nokia Browser behavior because the app requires Nokia Browser 1.5 runtime.
Does someone has experiment a similar rejection?
