What is the best way to represent a unit in a Turn based Strategy
Since speed is not a major consideration in this project i was wondering what way should i represent a unit.
If the unit has 6 valuse to contain.
I could use 7 arrays.
Then just for evry unit check is it alive then access the rest of it attributes.
Then i could represent the 16 different units that the player had or can have in the game.
Or is there a better way to do this?
Has anybody writen a Strategy game and how did you find and have you any advice / warnings to give?
Mine is a Hex based war game that has to finish in 15 turns!
AI is the only think that i'm not really sure about handling.
