I m developing a game for Nokia series 40. And I have taken the strip of images.
And I am drawing them using drawImage () method of Graphics Class ( when sprite is walking left) and drawImage () method of DirectGraphics Class (when sprite is walking right as I m simply rotating the same image). I've used the setClip() method of Graphics Class to display the intended sprite at a time.
I have used DirectGraphics' drawImage() method because it can Rotate the images. But it seems setClip() method is not working properly as entire strip (of sprites) is visible instead of inteded one. While it is mentioned in Nokia API doc that Graphics and DirectGraphics perform all the drawing operations in same context . ( means e.g. if I have set the color in using Graphics' setColor() then it'll b appllied to DirecGraphics also.
