Archived:Re-entering characters in XHTML input field gives an error message on early Nokia 6600 firmware (Known Issue)
The Nokia 6600 browser crashes if the C-key is used for emptying characters in XHTML input field.
XHTML input fields are used for inputting, e.g., username and password data. If the user types in incorrect characters and presses the C-key to empty the input field and then starts typing in characters again, the browser gives an error message and crashes.
How to reproduce
Go to an XHTML page which contains an input field. Type in a few characters and press the C-key to empty the input field. Then start typing in characters again. The browser gives an error message and crashes.
Corrected in software release 4.09.1 and onwards.
