The Nokia Asha SDK 1.1 (beta) is available to support development on the new Nokia Asha 500, Nokia Asha 502, and Nokia Asha 503 in addition to already popular Nokia Asha 501. With support for new VoIP and Share APIs, using the SDK enables apps to enter new territory in communication and social interaction.
Developers can now embrace Nokia Notifications features and functionality and make richer apps using notifications. Furthermore, additional examples and templates inclued in the full release of the Nokia Asha web app tools 3.0 should make it even easier to create rich, immersive web apps for the latest Nokia Asha family phones. The simulator has also been updated to include support for the image quality settings available on Nokia Asha phones, enabling more accurate web app testing.
