Travel the world on your adventure and visit New York, Paris, London, Rome and Rio de Janeiro.
Reindeer Roundup is developer Christian West’s first Windows Phone, app and he ported and published it during a one-day event just in time for the holidays. Christian considers himself a hobbyist developer who’s contributed to ten published games in the last eight years and is now self-funding a project he expect to publish in 2014. Until Reindeer Roundup he had no experience developing for Windows Phone.
“I’d had quite a few requests to port the Reindeer Roundup to Windows Phone 8” Christian told us, “and saw a tweet from the Unity twitter account advertising a porting day in London and decided it was time. I hadn’t owned a Windows phone device before so it was a chance to gain some knowledge and get first-hand experience of the Windows Phone SDK and market place. I’m now self-funding a larger project and I want to increase my awareness of the business in order to make better informed decisions. Of course I think Reindeer Round-Up is a fun festive game that people will enjoy and I hope to get as many people playing it and enjoying it as I can. The Windows Phone market place is definitely gaining traction and I’d be foolish to not be on it now.”
