Hey guys! I'm new here, so I'm sorry if the thread is in the wrong section or something.
A friend and I are starting on a project that implies interconnecting various components(eg.GPS ) to a cell phone by means of Bluetooth technology. My question is:
Is it recomended to use and IDE or just the stand-alone developement kit??
What advantages on has versus the other, etc. I'd appreciate it if you told me your experiences using whichever one. thanks!
em, I use GEL as the editor and use wtk21 to compile , package and test....
and you have to find the correct series of Nokia device emuator to perform the testing....
I already downloaded the emulator I need, and I think I'll do what you do, I was just wondering what advantages using the SDK has when used with compatible IDE's (eg. JBuilder, Sun ONE Studio, etc. )
first of all, jbuilder etc need money...
and sdk has specific library which supposed appear in real device.....therefore, runnable in sdk means runnable in real device...
you dont need to use two separate program when using compatible editor
