    I solved my problem by creating a simplesis from pickle.py using ensymble. I then merged this with my original sis using the mergesis command.

    Thanks for your reply gaba88. I looked up the "Global Module Index" of the PyS60 1.9.0 documentation and, sure enough, the audioop module is listed. Any ideas?
