    Re: problem with N80

This is apparently a common issue. Look here: http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79256&page=1&pp=15&highlight=n80

At the moment I find the new phones (N80, etc.) unusable...
  2. Re: Memory problems with N71, E60, N80, N91 - OutOfMemoryError

The N90 worked fine for me as well.

    Re: Nokia N80 / J2ME problems

Thanks for sharing Nokia's reply, Oliver. I suppose this means there's a decent chance of a fix in a near firmware release, which would be great. I hope the problem I've experienced has the same...

    Re: Nokia N80 / J2ME problems

I think I'm experiencing a different problem. The section of code where the problem happens is encased in a try-catch statement that attempts to catch Throwables, but no Throwable is thrown. At the...

    Re: Nokia N80 / J2ME problems

I'm experiencing a similar issue. I have a J2ME application that works reliably on 6630's, N70's, and N90's but always crashes with no error message on the N80 (which also has the 3.0614.0.1...

Re: Alert with both Yes & No Commands

I've seen that problem too. The Alerts on N70s appear to get confused by different command types. One of the workarounds is to give both (or all) commands the type Command.SCREEN.

I've encountered a similar issue with v2 firmware on the 6630 -- data streamed too quickly from a client to the phone over an L2CAP connection will cause behavior as you described. I don't have...

jxt: We don't do service discovery, but instead manually construct a btl2cap:// URL. I don't know whether that would work in your case. I believe I have experienced cases (I could be wrong) where a...

For what it's worth, I've encountered the same problem with RFCOMM. I posted about it on this board several months ago. I never found a workaround, but L2CAP was sufficient for my purpose.

    Hi,

No, I never solved the problem with RFCOMM. Instead we just moved to L2CAP, which seems to work fine.

That aside, it seems to me that you might be encountering a different problem. The...

    Nokia 6620 MIDP issues?

    Hello,

I recently started using several Nokia 6620s (previously I was using 6600s and a SonyEricsson P900) to develop and run Java apps that use Bluetooth. I'm observing strange behavior in the...
