Re: Capture slider events on N95

Hello, I would like to put this in the Wiki. But there is no way to create a new page. What would be the best article I can add this information to?

Re: Capture slider events on N95

    Hello everybody,
I analyzed the N95 and I found out that the slider sends the following key events:

    (1) Open keyboard slider
    aType = 0x0003, iCode = 0x0000, iScanCode = 0x00ac ...

    Hello friends,

Thank you very much for you answers. This was very helpful for me. I know now that there is no hope for on-device-debugging or emulating. It is good to know that because then there...

Re: How to debug ETel/TSY with emulator

Thank you, but that was not what I was looking for. I have plenty of 2nd edition phones, but I cannot do on-device-debugging on them. I need the TRK agent or something like that.

I would like to capture the event when the slider on the Nokia N95 opens and closes. I have tried on-device-debugging and waiting for EKeyFlipOpen, but it did not help.

Re: Simulator for Nokia E90 where?

Is the simulator in S60 3rd edition FP1 ready for the E90?
I mean, can it simulate the 2 screens and the wide screen inside?
I won't install this huge SDK until I am certain it is worth it.

  12. Carbide 1.2.2: Indexer does not find source files in relative paths

    Hello Carbide team,

I would like to report a problem that causes great trouble for us. The indexer in Carbide 1.2.2 finds only files that are in the same directory as the MMP file, or in...
  13. Re: Carbide editor not parsing macros like __SERIES60_3X__

Let me add that it is also possible to put macro definitions in the MMP file. You can so this with the very nice graphical MMP editor. These macros are also not parsed by the indexer.
  14. Re: Carbide editor not parsing macros like __SERIES60_3X__

    Hello Dan,

I did some testing. Well the "X" in __SERIES60_3X__was not a typo. We have been using the macro with the uppercase X in all our code and it works for the compiler - but obviously not...

    Hello Dan,

  17. Carbide editor not parsing macros like __SERIES60_3X__

    Hello,

I use Carbide.c++ 1.2.2. We use a lot of macros in the code, like these:
    __SERIES60_3X__
    __WINS__
    __MARM__

But the Carbide editor does not resolve them and shows me the wrong block in...
  18. Carbide 1.2.2: relative pathnames in bld.inf

I have Carbide.c++ 1.2.2. I want to put relative pathnames in the bld.inf file, like this:

    ../../Library2.mmp

    The "Symbian Project...
  19. [solved] Indexer not working with relative sourcepaths

    Hello everybody,

I just wanted to share you my insight how to solve this problem.

Here is the trick: You must give the indexer a local file under the mmp's directory. The indexer starts...
  20. Re: Indexer not working with relative sourcepaths

Yes, I tried the "full parser" setting and I clicked on "rebuild index" several times. I see the indexer starting, but it finishes in a microsecond. It simply does not find the files at all.
  21. [solved] Indexer not working with relative sourcepaths

    Hello,

I use Carbide.c++ 1.2.1. Our project uses a lot of relative paths in the MMP file, because the code is shared between different platforms and different projects. Like this:

    SOURCEPATH...
