  1. Why do we need to distinguish T class from C class?

    Since we could give T class an constructor to initialize the members which don't allocate any memory on heap at all, since we could allocate T class on heap with new and delete operators, Why do we...

    Re: C class or T class?

    OK. I mean whether we could directly put 2D-array in the class(as TMyClass), so we don't need to do silly allocating memory for each 2D-array pointer(as CMyClass), we could just allocate the Instance...

    Re: What's the MAX_SIZE of global constant

    I think it should have a max-size value in theory. I want to know that, so I could use the array trustingly.

    Re: What's the MAX_SIZE of global constant

    In your other threads you have a global object with a constructor.
    Indeed, I have rewrote a lot of code and eliminated a lot of data.
    There is still 10KB constant data which I have no idea to...

    I think it's 256KB for each.
    In fact , these data is constant. I build it in the run time just because it's difficult to edit it in the source code.
    It seems that symbian supports global constant,...

    Is big array acceptable for symbian.

    In my application, I have some very big arrays which used as look-up tables.
    I define them within a class, as follows:

    class MyData
    {
    public:
    MyData();
    ........

    private:

    in fact, I don't get a good idea.

    I use a loop to...
  18. Re: How to write asynchronous function used in active-object

    I don't know yet. Firstly, I must make one active object to run HeavilyUseCPU(), and then see what will happen.
    immediately I find it's difficult to wirte asynchronous function.

  21. Re: How to update the view immediately in S60 3rd

    I don't think it's useful to use Active-Object here, because I must block the thread to wait for the active-object finish its job any way, say HeavilyUseCPU. It's not really asynchronous process....
  22. Re: How to update the view immediately in S60 3rd

    It handles the input data, uses recursive algorithm to get result.
  23. Re: How to update the view immediately in S60 3rd

    Maybe I should use multi-threads here instead of active-object.
  24. Re: How to update the view immediately in S60 3rd

    I add some code to wait for the draw() was finished, but it still don't work.
