    6600 midi bug confirmed

    The 6600 (v. 3.42.1 at least) has an MMAPI bug:

    If you play a midi file that is "too short", and try to play that same Player again, the sound will mess up and the repeated plays are not correct....

    Because it's not supported

    Nokia 6230 only supports MIDI and tones, and OTT tones for audio playback from Java.

    Read the MMAPI support doc from Nokia, it clearly shows this.

    Ah no! You could be right. Over time, I call getGraphics() multiple times to get the Graphics for the back buffer - but not usually ina single render cycle - but from one frame to the next I do call...
