    MinimumSize returns height = 0 ?

    Hi there,

I'm currently porting one of my applications from S60 7.0 to 9.1 and get a problem with my labels and textfields. I used to set their extent via, e.g.:

    numeditor =...

    Hi Peter,

I'm having the same problems with my 5140 / Vodafone Germany constellation. My midlets hang at the connection step...

  3. Re: Integrate RFID Toolkit with Eclipse & Carbide.J

Well, I think that should do, if you add the RFID 1.0 toolkit to the list. I actually don't use the Carbide.J plugin for anything but its emulator. Just make sure to create a proper JAD file using...
  4. Re: Integrate RFID Toolkit with Eclipse & Carbide.J

Okay, it cost me a little digging but by now I indeed have all the pieces neatly fit together. That is: develop, compile, debug, package and deploy directly through Eclipse 3.2. :-)

    The key lies...
  5. Re: Integrate RFID Toolkit with Eclipse & Carbide.J

Would be great if you could assemble some sort of step-by-step HowTo and post it here. *wink, wink*

    Cheers,
    Stevie.
  6. Integrate RFID Toolkit with Eclipse & Carbide.J

I think the subject says it all: has anyone managed to get RFID applications compile (and debug!) from inside the Eclipse environment? I have absolutely no clue on how to get Carbide.J, Antenna,...

    Re: Which certificate to use

Hmmm... you say you can 'easily' create a self-signing certificate to use. I wouldn't be too sure about that because not all phones will eat x.509 certs. Especially older ones (5140 for example) will...

Re: Having problems with self-signed cert.

You can get free WTLS certs from www.freecerts.com. But you won't be able to convert them to X.509 to use them for signing. Or at least I couldn't find a way to do.

    Mobi.

    selfsigned code signing certificate?

    Hi there,

I'm currently struggling with Midlets in the 5140 phone.

To access the XPress-On-Shell I have attached to the 5140, I need signed midlets. As purchasing full featured Verisign certs...

Thanks for your patience and sorry, it's always tricky to guess what terms to use in different languages ;-)

No, I meant the appointment view, which obviously is a listbox with mixed iconic textual content in the second column (text plus reminder bell).

But how, then, does the 'calendar' application manage to display little bells on the lower right side to mark alarms?

    Cheers,

    > AFAIK, the answer is know.

Hmmm, 'no', you mean ? Or 'known'?

    Well, basically, because...
  14. Mixing text and bitmaps in Listbox entries: possible?

    Hi there!

Is it possible to freely mix iconic and textual elements within _one_ textbox row's column? I know I can do that with different columns of a row, but is this also possible within one...

Just think of the CleanupStack as a tray stacks they have in fast food restaurants. The last tray put on the stack will have to be the first to come off.

    Same with the cleanup...

    PopAndDestroy() or delete()

As far as I can say, it's mainly a matter of taste and maybe also a (minor) matter of space efficiency.

Apart from that, PopAndDestroy will only work if you have a code layout where at the time...
