IIRC it uses P2P.
There are only 2 readers supported: Pegoda and Omnikey. In documentation you can find models exactly. I bet there is also description how to get them working with sdk. For omnikey you basically need...
There were similar discussion http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158549
Take a look at SDK's help, there is explanation how to get it working.
Basically you need to disable security check in emulator, open preferences and should find a page with "OTA" "Direct...
In real life you probably can communicate through embedded tag. But in emulator you can't. Just use LLCP connection. I know, it's not very stable in emulator, but for simple cases it should work...
You seem to demand a little bit more then it was designed.
To embedd a tag you need to launch emulator to get tab open in nfc manager, insert 4k mifare tag (only that type is supported as in phone)...
It could be called Permissions or something like this. It's there, really. I also believe help explains how to launch MSStandard example and which settings should be changed. Take a look.
Sure it's possible. I don't have emulator, so can't say exactly. Open preferences (under edit menu or something). it should have a tab with security. there is a drop down box where you can choose...
I'm surprised that it didn't work with Java1.6. I wouldn't be surprised if it wouldn't work with 1.5.
Anyway, you don't need to reinstall/install jre if/when NFC Manager doesn't work with current...
Ok, I think we found it. Drivers are not enough to install.
Basically you need to install everything which is available on their page.
CardMan5x2x_x86.exe and CardMan_I2C_Bus_API_V1_0_0_0.zip
Thanks, we managed to reproduce it, stay tuned.
Try with 6131 sdk. I think it supports Omnikey as well.
Just plugged omnikey and it was recognized immediately.
Is it possible that you have Omnikey.dll or (and) SynchAndApiCheck.dll in your...
Actually 6212 SDK Documentation says that omnikey requires drivers as well
and gives this link http://omnikey.aaitg.com/index.php?id=69
Are you sure you have working Omnikey?
Do you it in External Readers view in NFC Manager?
If even don't need to install drivers to get it working with NFC Manager.
I also start looking at implementing acr122 reader plugin, lets see if I get anything working.
Omnikey support is hardcoded in 6131 NFC SDK.
There is no way to extend it. However you can take 6212 NFC SDK which contain NFC Manager and you can extend _that_ if you know how to write Java apps...
Ah, so you are not using emulator? Then I can't help you much. Hopefully some other guys know how to do that.
You probably can't create applet which will run on secure element and access external reader, sorry. But you still may try. Even I can't say for sure that it's impossible. You can simulate secure...
You should read some development guides for the reader you are trying to add support.
Something like this:
Yes, thats correct. You may create a plugin to allow NFC Manager to work with for instance ACR122. Should be quite simple.
There is also an example how to do that in...
Don't think they were compiled. Or may be they were compiled but not preverified. Anyway it's not a good idea to copy/delete stuff in directories of modern IDE.
In short it's not possible to use external readers by just extracting compiled java classes.
In long, Nokia wrapped C/C++ pegoda API with Java code, but will not release it as separate library....
I think the problem with obfuscating or netbeans installation. If I remember correctly emulator has few midlets in applications folder, try to open them.
Also you could try to use eclipse...
1) It wants to see NCF lite application running. If you are not planning to connect 2 emulators just ignore that.
2) Does emulator crash? Could you show screenshot?
Ignore smart card...
Download 6212 SDK, it has Tag Editor. At least Mifare4k, 1k and ultralight should be compatible with 6131.
