    To be hones. I don't really care about the binary size that much. It may have mattered 10 years ago, but now have fast 3G networks, WLAN access etc. It's really not a big deal anymore.

    The checklib is actually checking the new/delete consistensy.

    In my case there was a new (ELeave) missing at one source file. Adding that fixed the issue.

    The linking into a static library worked with S60 5th edition, but it's failing with Symbian^3 SDK.

    The DSA bybasses the Qt stuff, so you can just make your own update() method, and use the DSA from there.

    You should use the new Qt environment for building from now on. Just run the Qt\4.6.1\bin\qtenv.bat before building from the command line.

    I guess that the QPainter should be the "fast" blitter in QT.
