Re: How retriving the installing sisx filename

You could simply monitor opened files, and when a .sis/.sisx file is detected, you just have to capture its name

    Re: Saving a file

It means the RMS file has a size limit in some devices (S40).For example, you can't store 600kB of data in your RMS on a 6230i.

JSR-75 allows you to directly access the file system. It's explained...

    Hi Rocco.Welcome to Forum Nokia
As far as i know, S40 phones have small limits (like 32kB, depending on the device), while in S60, the size limit of RMS is only bound to the available storage memory...

Re: Auto Startup @ device bootup.

There's no way to do that, unfortunatelly.
You can actually auto start the application at some particular events (like a SMS), but not at device startup.

    Re: Nokia 6600 the best

Tell us how many seconds, and we can tell you whether it's normal.

I would say any 3rd edition device is faster than 6600.

Re: N95 Deleting words from dictionary??????

What i did with my N80 was deleting the file, and next, creating a folder with the same name of it.This way, absolutely no word would be saved to T9 database. That technique is crucial for me, cause i...

    Re: Application start

No, it's just not possible in J2ME.
One thing you could do is creating a Symbian C++ program to start your midlet.
But of course, it wouldn't apply for S40 phones.

I was referring to this reply of yours (that one i'd actually quoted):

In such case, SWI would create the folder.

    Re: HAL ECPUSpeed

In devices with ARM9 CPUs, you'll be getting wrong values as well.
In N80 (220MHZ) for example, you get 201MHZ as the CPU clock rate. That's the same value you get in a N95, and you can realize the...
