    Re: icons over HTTPS

Thanks. I hope I not being a pest about it. Just keeping it on the radar :) It's just one of those small-ish needs that make the user experience run much smoother.

    Re: icons over HTTPS

Hello! Just checking in to see if there's a solution here. Our users on IE get quite confused by those security warnings in IE. All other map assets are in HTTPS, except the Places images. Ideas?

    Re: icons over HTTPS

Hi. Is there any update on this? It would be great if HTTPS icons were possible either allowing us to locally host them or having Nokia host them. IE users experience some odd annoying behavior where...

    Re: icons over HTTPS

For a Nokia server, it would be simplest if they were just hosted and the server path was documented online Developers would know the server and we can do the work to modify the .icon path in our own...

Would it be possible to get the icon files via HTTPS? Our maps solution is running on an SSL connection. For talking to the API endpoints, I've been able to swap out http:// for https:// and it works...

    Well Populated Place record

I am seeing a lot of information documented in the API that is not populated in the database. I am trying to accommodate all the possible data that makes sense for my app, but testing is difficult...

Re: Searches are not restricted to an area

After trying it out more and more, I see how it works and is pretty smart. I decided to use the [at] and X-Map-Viewport options. When I get results back, I run them through this JS method. to compare...

Re: Searches are not restricted to an area

I understand how you are using location as a hint to the search, but I really think you should have an option to restrict results to an area. Or perhaps use the location hints in a stronger way than...

Re: Searches are not restricted to an area

Thanks. My approach will be to either look at the distance value or write function to assess whether the point is within the bounds of the map and only show things that are (or close to it). My Tokyo...

Searches are not restricted to an area

I have tried both using the at parameter and also using a X-Map-Viewport header, but when I search it does not restrict the places search to the area I specify.

    For example, use the link...
