    Re: CAknMarkableListDialog panics with USER 0

    No, running ActiveObjects are not the problem.

    I created a new project and copied the CAknSelectionListDialog code in it.

    There are no ActiveObjects, but the same panic was delivered USER 0.

  17. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    Uhhhh yea,

    EEventFocusGroupChanged is enough!

    The last problem is a second entry in the task list for the focus observer window group...

    But the solution works!

    Special thx to mayur_24...
  18. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    Yes it works, thx wizard_hu_!

    RunL() of my focus observer:

    void CFocusObserver::RunL() {
    // Get the event from the window server session iWs
    TWsEvent wsEvent;
    ...
  19. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    Okay, now i am use the RWsSession of CONE for the on top icon and i connect an own RWsSession in the on top icon for the focus observer and it works with EnableFocusChangeEvents().

    But if i call...
  20. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    hmmmmm, is there an more easy way to get focus change events?

    If CONE becomes the events, can I overwrite a member of CONE to realize the focus changes?
  21. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    Like in the example i use now a global handle to an own RWsSession in the on top icon.

    RWsSession* iWs;

    In the ContructL of the icon (derived from CCoeControl), i call...
  22. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    Thank you,

    How to initialize the RWsSession?

    I think the owner object is the on top icon. And i tried to initialize an own RWsSession, but how can i do this without a heap allocation?

    many thanks for the feedbacks. It makes sense that the RWsSession is the problem (thx wizard_hu_). I tried to generate an own RWsSession for the on top icon but the app will be closed with...
  24. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    hi,

    hmmm i understand what you mean, but how can i solve this problem.

    i tried to call GetEvent before the EventReady call:

    void CFocusObserver::StartL() {
    ...
  25. Re: own CCoeControl to realize an always on top icon

    hi mayur,

    The error code is WSERV 8.

    An errorcode table shows the definition:

    Is the error in the StartL() of the focus observer?
