    Well... the code is a little more complicated.

    The bTemp is directly convert into a String.
    It is Decrypted first and the decryption function uses Bytes.

    Here is the basic code:

    byte [] bTemp = getAsBytes(strHex);
    strFinal = new String(bTemp ,"ISO-8859-1");

    The application takes a Hex string and coverts it back to characters.
    I thought it has to do with the language somehow - character encoding. So i've specified the same encoding...

    I wish to prevent another application from getting access to my application data stored in the cellular memory.
