    I work with voice calls and do specific things with Telephony events such as dialling etc.
    I just hope that working with these events would be not much different.

    I tried changing the lang to HE and also to ave the txt as unicode.
    The result is still the same.

    I solved the main problems I had when trying to use hebrew.
    I still have a problem with the package file trying to load a release.txt file
    which is now in hebrew
    and which is saved as UTF-8....

    It's my method which actually does this:
    if (data1 == data2) // data1/2 is TBuf
    return ETrue;
    else return EFalse;

    I checked the length after retrieving a word from the DB and it's ok.
    Equals() method just doesn't work when I try to compare the retrieved word to a descriptor which is the same.

    after doing more checking I believe that the problem is when inserting or retrieving the hebrew word from the DBMS.

    What is the correct way to put and retrieve UTF-8 data...

    I changed all of the strings from english to hebrew and saved the files in UTF-8 format.
    nothing else was changed.

    OK great,
    using UTF-8 did solve the problem.

    Strange thing btw (not languqage related),
    every menu that I open in the application has a double '^' character (one is upside down) in the bottom....

    I copied and pasted the hebrew fonts from a web site to my source files,
    Should I verify that the web browser is set to unicode before copying?

    For some reason,
    hebrew characters doesn't work in my application.
    for example - changed the menu letters to hebrew and the characters just change to a meaningless mix of characters.
    any idea...

    If one wants to monitor calls (know the call status), hangup calls and initiate them,
    CTelephony and ETel would do the job? in any network...
