    thanks for trying the AES plugin. You can't encode unicode strings directly.

    Try:


    text = u"äöüß1234567890"
    encoded_text = text.encode("utf-8")

    i just updated the aes.zip file. It now includes an unsigned version and the sources. I guess they'll need some cleanup :)
