ahh, just one last thing... (making myself useful... LOL)

from what i'm aware, the "javax.microedition.sip" is the
"JSR-180 SIP API for J2ME™" program itself.
And you can find it here:

    http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/reso...sr.html#jsr180

Now, i also think, you should get ALL the 3 programs listed there.
    which they are:

    JSR-180_SIP_API_for_J2ME_HTML_javadoc_version.zip
    JSR-180_SIP_API_for_J2ME.zip
    RI_Binary_For_JSR-180_SIP_API_For_J2ME.zip

Don't forget, you need to have a Nokia Forum account (which is free) and make sure you read all the available information, starting here:

    http://www.forum.nokia.com/document/...ary/index.html

The best of luck and keep in touch...

JSR 180 is not enough for doing a full-duplex VoIP. With current JAVA/MIDP2 implementation you should be able to a simplex messaging like application (record and send), but you are not able to do real-time full-duplex client for S60 devices. You have no access to speech codecs, RTP etc

You would need to do your client using Symbian C++. I would suggest to start that project by downloading the S60 C++ SDK plug-in for S60 3.0 (provides access to APS 2.0, WLAN management and WLAN settings APIS) and reviewing the source code example for the full-duplex loop-back client included in the package.
