    Unhappy How to embed recognizer in app

    can anyone help me to embed the recognizer into the app,
    i have a signed (with dev cert with cap ProtServ) recognizer, now wants to embed in a helloworld app....but getting error in signing the packaged sis file
    sisfile error, expected data missing
    ??????????????

    So, you have a signed .sisx file with certain capabilities, and now you try to embed that in another .sisx file with different - less? - capabilities?

    Can you post your package files + the exact commands you use to build the .sisx files and sign them?

    i'm not getting anyerror withe makesis, but with signsis i'm getting it
    SISfile error, expected data missing
    the command used is

    signsis -s CallieAppSymC.SIS CallieAppSymCSignedSigned.SIS mycert.cer mykey.key passkey

    sooo...i hve tried using certificates
    1) self signed
    2) with read cap
    3)with read & protserv cap
    also tried to use helloworld UID protected one..but still same error
    ???????

    thanks....i have alreay gone through it, it was the error with Makesis, but i didn't have the error with makesis rather i have it at the time of signsis, but i have already changed it from *.*.* to 0.0.0 but still i'm getting the same error.....

    Make sure both your sis files do not specify *.*.* for the version.

    Also run makesis from the command line and not from the IDE as the IDE seems to randomly rewrite the pkg file.

    thanks....the problems was with the embeded sis ....its pkg wasn;t following 0.0.0 comp.....corrected it...and now its fine...thanks

    Now i'm trying to copy a jad,jar and trying to run jad in the end....but untill now didn't able to run a single text file even at the end of installation...tried these things in pkg...but nothing
    "C:\VisualStudioProjects\CallieAppSymC\CallieAppSymC\sis\myfile.txt"-"!:\myfile.txt",FILEMIME,"text/plain",RUNWAITEND


    also used params, FR, RI with diff combinations...but still nothing....just wants to run a text file then i might be able to run the jad as well....sooo any body can help me ???
