Handling Ringtone or WallPaper Content in J2ME Apps

    Hi,

I would like to know the possible ways to handle different types of content in J2ME, we would like to stream the content in our J2ME application over http/tcp and make an option available to the user to download it as Wallpaper/Ringtone depending upon the content type.

I know there is a JSR for content handling - CHAPI but it is not available on phones as yet, so what are the available options one is left with to handle content from within J2ME applications.

    Thanks in advance,

    Damodar

Re: Handling Ringtone or WallPaper Content in J2ME Apps

As I mentioned in my other reply of your post, If all you needed is to download Ringtones and wallpapers, You can download the Sound files(Ring tones) and Images with HTTP and if your phone supports JSR 75 (FileConnection) you can save it to the File system of the phone.

    Regards
    Gopal
