    parameters of BOOTSTRAP characteristics

    Dear Friends,

I have problems with understanding the use of BOOTSTRAP parameters such as the NAME. OMA WAP provisioning content says "the NAME indicates a logical identity of the configuration context". What is "configuration context" and what is the NAME parameter used for??
is Bootstrapping a mandatory task before client provisioning?

    Thank you in advance
    Regards,
    Anis
