    Using 3330 as a modem

I have successfully connected my 3330 to my PC using a cable, and now I would like to know if I can use my 3330 as a modem. Is this possible?

How did you get the connection? I have a 3310 and I would like to control it with at commands. I have a DAU-9P serial cable FBUS/MBUS switchable. Will this work? I've tried to send commands via a terminal program but never got any answer. In fact, I even don't know what settings to use for the serial port. Could you help me?

    Thanks in advance

See aftermarket programs such as Logomanager if you want to connect your 3330 to a computer. However you cannot use it for internet connectivity as the 33xx series are not data compatible phones.

RE: Using 3330 as a modem

    Hi,

Please note that Nokia 3330 does not have the connection methods needed for PC Connectivity and it can not be used for data connection to ISP. Making such connection could damage the phone and will also end all warranties given to the phone.

    Best regards,
