    ProcessCommandParametersL problems application

    Hi forum nokia experts,

    I detected if application was launched manually or by start up list through;

    TBool CTestAppUi::ProcessCommandParametersL( CApaCommandLine &aCommandLine )
    {
    if(aCommandLine.OpaqueData().Length() > 0)//manual start
    StartSplashNow(ETrue);
    else
    StartSplashNow(EFalse);

    return CEikAppUi::ProcessCommandParametersL( aCommandLine );
    }
    Everything goes fine on emulator but on E70 application halts on splash screen and i have to press Red/Application button to end my splash screen and I’ve to launch application again and it resumes. Actually i want to exit application if it was started by startup list but user has already disabled autostart from my application settings. And if i do nothing in 'ProcessCommandParametersL' and construct all my views in AppUi's ConstructL then it works perfect on device as well as on emulator. Please suggest me some way to handle this issue.

    Thanks

    Make a separate exe that reads the user settings and then launches your real app when required.

    Re: ProcessCommandParametersL problems application

    I have done similar type of work sucessfully there is no problem.

    I suggest you first test it out without splash screen, I think problem lies in ur splash screen code.

    otherwise give some information about ur splash screen code etc, so that may be I can help you.

    but it is sure there is no problem occurred in the usage of startup managment list , the way u are using.
