    N95 and Memory-Map

Can anyone tell me if I would be able to install Memory-Map onto the N95 to make use of the Ordnance Survey maps with its GPS capability?

On an N95 you can "install" S60 3rd Edition/Symbian OS 9.1 apps, Java MIDP 2.0 MIDlets, Flash Lite 1.1/2.0 apps, S60 Python apps (with the S60 Python runtime).

The GPS capability is exposed/accessible using at least C++ and Java location (LBS, Location Based Services) APIs. Please excuse my ignorance, but how that applies to this "Memory-Map", I don't know, as I don't know what "Memory-Map" you're referring to.

    Hi Petrib,

You wrote "The GPS capability is exposed/accessible using at least C++ and Java location (LBS, Location Based Services) APIs."

Which API's are you referring to? Standard JavaME API's or Nokia SDK API's?

I've developed a few things for Bluetooth GPS's with the Java Bluetooth API, but I'm interested in how to access the "internal" GPS of the N95 (and others in the future). To avoid being locked in to a single vendor, I'm looking for standard API's for this kind of access.

    Thanks in advance.
