    AddToStackL(iAppView) crashes (?)

    Hi all

    In my class XYAppUi.cpp in the method ConstructL() there after the line
    AddToStackL(iAppView);

    the execution goes somewhere (i don't know where it's all assembly) and my
    app doesn't do anything anymore... i.e. it doesn't crash but it doesn't respond
    to key events anymore...
    I'm running it on the emulator and I don't get any error either..

    Does anyone have any idea?
    Could it be some problem with any of the resources?

    thx

    G

    Hii..
    inorder to get response of key event you have to override..

    TKeyResponse OfferKeyEventL(const TKeyEvent& aKeyEvent,TEventCode aType);

    function in your container class...
    and use it accordingly for different different events....

    Hi

    No this cannot be the problem because the same application used to
    respond fine to key events. With key events I mean that you could enter
    the menu which doesn't work anymore.
    The app does not even paint the screen...
    : (

    Hi Sumit

    I did this and it didn't help. The app still does not do anything at all...

    There are no such miracles. A program "usually" does what is described in its source.
    You should debug your code. For example place breakpoints to ConstructL, Draw, etc. methods to check if and how they run.
