    landscape to portrait switch.

    Hi

i have been dealing with a rather strange issue. I have support for landscape and portrait in my application.

    now my problem is .

whenever i switch to a new view in landscape mode and then flip the phone to go to portrait mode , then some area of the status pane is getting drawn with backgound ( to be precise size of status pane shown in portrait is same as shown in landscape, with rest of it being drawn with the background, as i use skinning so i have backgound bitmap which nothing but a complete black one) ??

Now strange as i said, when i switch to a new view in portrait and then flip the phone to landscape its all fine, again flipping to portrait everything is shown properly :-)

    any idea ?

    regards,

    Re: landscape to portrait switch.

    more updates in problem :-

i have noticed that during a switch from landscape to portrait the status pane is not getting refreshed . ( area occupied by it being the same as in landscape mode.) . again this is only when the view is launched in landscape mode. it does not happen when the view us launched in portrait mode.

    regards,
