    'Clock skew detected' problem!

    Hello everyone,

since today I cannot build my application because I always get a 'Clock skew detected' error.

I'm programming since 4 month and I never had this problem and now out of the blue I get this error.

I thought the problem maybe occured because we had a change from winter to summer time (from 24.03. to 25.03.)?! But even if I change the date on my computer to the winter time, the error still occurs.

Can someone tell me how I can solve this problem? That would be really kind. Thanks in advance.

I hate to waste time on that, too.

Please let me know if you found a solution.

I will also post my solution if I ever find one :-(.

Lightbulb Re: 'Clock skew detected' problem!

I had the same problem here with Carbide.C++ 1.1 builds.

I got rid of the whole project in the Carbide Projects window (remember to back it up before you delete it!).

Then re-imported the project using the MMP file, and added the missing sis directory (along with the .pkg) via the file system import option.

The project now compiles to a working SIS file, only a warning is shown in Carbide:

    *** Warning: File `src/subdir.mk' has modification time in the future (2007-03-25 17:57:43 > 2007-03-25 16:57:46)

No idea how to get rid of the warning though... :|

    Re: 'Clock skew detected' problem!

    I found another solution.
It's not a really good one, but for me it's okay at the moment.

I changed the time of my computer from e.g 17:15 o'clock to 15:15 o'clock. And now everything works.

It's for sure not the best solution, but I only wanted to finish my application without deinstalling or deleting anything.
