Maximum length of a phone number in contacts?

    Hi,

Which variable in the sdk holds information about the maximum length that a phone number field can have in symbian contact book?

    Thanks!

Re: Maximum length of a phone number in contacts?

    Hi,

I found the answer, in case someone requires it in the future:

The variable KMaxTelNumberSize holds the required data and belongs to CTelephony class.

KMaxTelNumberSize = 100 in header file

I dnt think the phone number is that much long .
I think It is set to 100 just considering future expansion .

    (It`s just my understanding)
Pleas let me know if I m wrong .
