Unhappy Carbide.ui theme corrupted in n73

I have created a theme for n73 using carbide.ui. I am using a 240x320 screen resolution for all screen design. When I am packaging the designed theme, I used a certificate signed by symbiansigned.com, check the automatic UID, selected allow copying and 16bit color depth. The packaging went on as is. I have transferred the .sis file created to my n73. Installation is also fine, no problem occured. But when I tried to preview the theme created in Carbide.ui, it always prompting to "theme corrupted" then it goes to the phone's default theme. When I try to apply the theme, same error message appears then followed by "Application is busy" message then it also goes back to the phone's default theme. Please help me on how to solve this issue...

Unhappy Re: Carbide.ui theme corrupted in n73

I've got the same problem with my N95. The weird thing is, that if I convert an example theme (came with the Carbide UI program) to a .sis file and install it, my phone can open it :S.
So the exaple theme I can use, but my own designed one not.

    Hope somebody knows why...

    Ey,
I discovered where the problem came from. It has to do with the Areas (In the resources menu), the Status and the Control area. You cannot add an special image in those catagories. If you just leave it like it is from the start (you can change the color if you want, but don't add any images) and then convert a .sis file, your phone should be able to open it.
It worked with mine (the N95).
Hope it works for you too.

    Good luck, Valens

hey guys, I discovered this to be a problem with 3.1.1.
Try to export your themes with 3.1 and it should work

Hi, I'm assuming that at least some of you are not understanding that you can not use SIS files made for 2nd edition in your 3rd or 5th ed devices, aince there is a binary break between the 2nd and 3rd.

Also I'm assuming that most of you are not developing the themes by yourself, and as this discussion baord concentrates on development issues, you might find more end-user problems related Dibo better suited for your query. Here's link for one: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/
