    Question Re: org.xml.xas.SAXParseException

    Dear Stojiljko,

I'm using carbide 3.1.1 on Windows XP. I've encountered the same problem everytime I tried to create something.

It almost made me give up making any new themes, I guess you could understand how frustrated I was after hours of editing.
Though my themes are not so outstanding, if you have some time, please kindly help me check the following tdf.

    Kelly_Brook.tdf (314.01 KB)

    coco one.tdf (251.14 KB)

I do appreciate your great efforts, and I'll keep supporting Carbide ^_^

    Best Regards,

    Hello,
    The problems was quite complicated.
Problem appears for animated icons and is fixed by removing string status="draft" type="still" from following elements:

    qgn_note_batt_charging_anim
    qgn_note_batt_full_anim
    qgn_note_batt_low_anim
    qgn_note_batt_not_charging_anim
    qgn_note_batt_recharge_anim
    qgn_note_erased_anim
    qgn_note_info_anim
    qgn_note_query_anim
    qgn_note_warning_anim

File should be fixed now. Please check it from the link http://www.mediafire.com/?9tn1ocfcdtm . Sorry for the problems caused.
    Best Regards,

    Unhappy Re: org.xml.xas.SAXParseException

Like most desperate ppl on this page, i'm asking for help ....
After several days of hard work on my theme one night i made mistake and hit auto shut down on my keyboard, carbide asked me to save changes on my theme and i chose yes ....
Anyway my last work was on animated icons, i see here that might be a problem.
After reading reply from Stojiljko i try to made corrections in tdf file but with no sucsess. Maybe my theme was not worth someone time to try to find where is mistake, but it's worth a lot to me ( hours of working in Photoshop and Ilustrattor ) ...
Thanks in advance and sry for my bad english

    tdf is uploaded on http://www.filefactory.com/file/8e99a6/

Talking How to repair org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "status" must be declared ...

    Cha-Ching !
    found it
I have figure it out how to repair the tdf file
Here is what i did ... first of all i got the message "Initialization of the content data failed.
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "status" must be declared for element type "element".
i started a new theme and drag the same picture in all the elements (to do it faster i put the same bmp file everywhere)
so..i began with the background and by placing the bmp file both in the background and idle background..
then save the theme, close it and load it. if no error message appears, repeat placing the bmp file in the "areas"..save close and load again, then "icons" .... save close and load again, then "highlights" ... so on ......... and when the error message appears it means it's something wrong with the last step you did. (my error was about the "wait bar") and then open the tdf file and remove the " status ="actual" " from the element in which you have placed the picture and gave you the eror message... save the tdf
    done

see if it works now if it works you have to remove " status ="actual" " at the same element in your hours-wasting theme to continue your project. reply me if it works

Re: How to repair org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "status" must be declared

Thanks Mlegsss, i'l try to do that first thing in the morning
Going to edit this post with biiiiiiiig thanks if it works

    Edit: For Mlegsss
I think my head will going to explode, 922 files in my theme, i try to find where is error but still nothing.
Btw i have "Initialization of the content data failed,
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "status" must be declared for element type "element" type of error, same as u had.
Anyway finding wrong " status ="actual" gives me such a headache ...
Lucky for me still have most of work in components store, so i will not start from scratch ...
Going to wait for Stojiljko to check my tdf file ...

    Best Regards,
It's so kind of you to help me out.
Thanks to your correction, I can load these themes in my UI now.
At the moment, I don't know how to express my gratitude for your help.
Though I'm just a rookie theme maker, but I'll check the beta program and explore what I could do with the new beta.
May God bless you, Stojiljko ^_^

    Talking Re: org.xml.xas.SAXParseException

Hi I have the same problem everyone is having with this "status" and "element" things, I was trying to download a debugger to do it myself and not to bother someone here so if you guys could tell me where to find the debugger for TDF type of files you will save my life!! I was trying to do it by "sight" but it's kinda hard to find a bug in 6000 lines, I'm also uploading my TDF file HERE just in case there are no debuggers available and someone wants to help this poor, poor guy to get his theme back, lol, really I spent like 10 hours making it and all to the gutter!!, well hope you guys can give me a hand on this one, thanks in advance!!!!
