    Support for Windows media in Symbian ?

    Do we have support for WMA or WMV in symbian?

    Not in the operating system. In some Symbian OS/S60 3rd Edition based phones yes, for WMA. No WMV support. CorePlayer is a video player with supposedly WMV support, but it has been "coming soon" for a very long time, so I don't know if it ever will (or already has).

    Simple Solution to this i have is write one Parser of your Own. We have done it same for AVI file format long back for 6630.

    Hi skumar,
    Thanks for the info..So u mean to say the parser would be attached as plugin and then the file type supported..

    Also , if a device has to have syncronization with windows media playe, what shud be the approach..
