Problem start-up: sound control in J2ME

hello, I have a question about the sound control in J2ME. Actually, I participate in a project for my university and I want to know if it's possible to change the volume of the mobile in using J2ME (not the volume of the application, I have already tested the fonction getLevel() and setLevel() in the volumeControl, and it can set the volume of the application, not the mobile). Can someone tell me if this is possbile? Thanks.

Re: Problem start-up: sound control in J2ME

With the currently available API's its not possible with a Java app to change the volume of the mobile(You said is correct, we can change the volume of the sound in Java applications). If your target phone is of Symbian, may be you could try with in Symbian C++.

    Regards
    Gopal
