    Nokia WAP SDK 2.16

Someone I know showed me "a toolkit from Nokia downloaded some months ago". It appears to be called the "Nokia WAP SDK 2.16". It sports a Nokia logo but says it's created by "Angelica Wireless". It seems to be a integrated WML editor, contains a beautiful 7110 emulator, is a executable (Dated aug 26 1999) in stead of a Java app, and is very much faster - although it appears to work not completely.

Question: what IS this thing? I cannot find it anywhere.

It's the OLD Nokia SDK. It allows you to program simple WML and allows you to preveiw them in a phone. Unfortunately, on my test systems at least, it uses a lot of memory (AMD Athlon 500 128) After I've been using it for a while the system runs low on resources. The phone simulator has only ever worked once, and the basic tools, are just basic.

Although I dont like it for those reasons, I have used it to construct a portal Demostration.
