    calendar

    hi there,
i installed the raccoon yesterday on my n91 and it runs great!
i get connected nearly everywhere, even in my home net without changing a single bit at the firewall rules. so congratulations for that great software & concept!

    here's my question:
is it possible to write some data to the calendar or to the addressbook?
are there any documents concerning the mod_pythons used?

    thanks for help,
    vokke

No, they are just concept demos. When playing with them you should imagine AJAX, JavaScript, etc., etc. to get a picture of what it really could be like

The core data demos have actually not been implemented using Python, but as native Apache modules. The primary reason is that they were made before we had the Python integration available. If you want to have a look at their implementation, then you can find them in the directory phone/http/httpd-2.0/modules/arch/symbian in the source.

If you intend to start tinkering, then drop the native implementations and redo them in Python or PSP; much simpler and more productive that way.

    hi johan,
many thanks for your fast reply.
but call me a fool - how do i get to this folder
    phone/http/httpd-2.0/modules/arch/symbian on my phone?

i only see that phone/data/apache/...-folder in my nokia pc suite.
do i need to use a different program to access the http-folder?
or do i need to install a different application (source)?
or can i browse the .sis-file?
may you suggest any documentation for me?

    please help me out,
    thanks again,
    vokke

Sorry for being so vague. That directory is part of the source code, so you will not find it on the phone. You can find the source distribution from http://sourceforge.net/projects/raccoon -> 'Download' -> raccoon_0_9_2_SRC.zip.

But note that in order to do anything with that, you need to have S60 SDK and development environment.

may you suggest any documentation for me?
A good starting point is http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/
