    APS 2.31: Not audio output from player

    Hi,
    I am using APS 2.31 in my application and I am passing audio data from RTP packet to the APS by adding the new audio data to the play queue. Everything seems to be ok and no error returned from the write queue. However, there is no voice coming out from the earpiece or speaker. Can anyone tell me what's wrong here? Below is what I did:

    TAPSCommBuffer iCommBuffer;
    iCommBuffer.iCommand = CQueueHandler::EAPSPlayData;
    iCommBuffer.iStatus = 0;

    _LIT8(KExtra, "\x0001");
    iCommBuffer.iBuffer.Zero();
    iCommBuffer.iBuffer.Append(KExtra);
    iCommBuffer.iBuffer.Append(aBuffer);
    TInt error = iWriteQ.Send(iCommBuffer);

    Thanks!

    Hi lss0986,
    to me this seems ok so far. How many bytes of data are i your "aBuffer"?

    I have somewhat the same problems. The Play queue does accept 100 buffers, until it is full. The APS makes no audible tones and the queue get overflown at th 101'th buffer i want to put on the queue.

    I have no solution at the moment.

    _LIT8(KExtra, "\x0001");

    must get changed to

    _LIT8(KExtra, "\x01\x00");

    There are 2 Bytes needed and the first one must be the 01. When I changed this, it worked for me.

    Hello everyone,

    The above solution working fine. Thanks for your solution bcz I digging more on that but at last ur solution make me clear. But now I got an problem. my app play and record voice data correctly but when it need to play something it cannot play continuously(make some break on play). Why it makes this break? I got another things that if I record something at play then it working nice... then play depend on record anyway?

    Thanks,
    Salahuddin
