    OpenC Raccoon Released

Raccoon built using OpenC and based upon Apache 2.2 (earlier version were based upon Apache 2.0) is now available for download at SourceForge:
    http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...roup_id=167580

NOTE Due to the changes, this version is now more beta than what version 0.9.2 is. So, upgrade only if you want be on the bleading edge.

    Highlights
    • Built using OpenC. Apache httpd on S60 is now much closer to Apache httpd running on other operating systems.
    • Based upon Apache httpd 2.2.4.
    • The following modules are built and installed and can be enabled via httpd.conf: mod_alias.so mod_asis.so mod_auth_basic.so mod_auth_digest.so mod_authn_alias.so mod_authn_anon.so mod_authn_dbm.so mod_authn_default.so mod_authn_file.so mod_authz_dbm.so mod_authz_default.so mod_authz_groupfile.so mod_authz_host.so mod_authz_user.so mod_autoindex.so mod_bucketeer.so mod_cache.so mod_case_filter_in.so mod_case_filter.so mod_cern_meta.so mod_charset_lite.so mod_dav.so mod_dav_fs.so mod_dav_lock.so mod_deflate.so mod_dir.so mod_dumpio.so mod_echo.so mod_env.so mod_example.so mod_expires.so mod_ext_filter.so mod_filter.so mod_headers.so mod_ident.so mod_imagemap.so mod_include.so mod_info.so mod_logio.so mod_log_config.so mod_log_forensic.so mod_mime.so mod_mime_magic.so mod_negotiation.so mod_proxy_ajp.so mod_proxy_balancer.so mod_proxy_connect.so mod_proxy_ftp.so mod_proxy_http.so mod_proxy.so mod_rewrite.so mod_setenvif.so mod_speling.so mod_ssl.so mod_status.so mod_unique_id.so mod_userdir.so mod_usertrack.so mod_version.so mod_vhost_alias.so
NOTE All of them have not been tested.
    • Passwords must now be encrypted in C:/Data/Apache/conf/users.txt.

    Known Bugs
    • Browsing over localhost using the browser on the phone does not work.
    • Apache hangs when stopping. You can still exit though.

Source code, SDKs and bundled packages will follow. Meanwhile you can pull the source directly from the subversion repository.
    Code:
    cd ...\S60_3rd_MR
    mkdir mws
    cd mws
    svn co https://raccoon.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/raccoon/phone/tags/release-0.10.0/phone

9300 is already a somewhat old device and S80 as a platform is being phased out. So, if you want to run Raccoon on it, I'm afraid you will have to start from the source code.

    Re: OpenC Raccoon Released

Using WebDAV on Raccoon 0.9.2 was a really fine thing, because I could use WLAN to access my storage card using my Apple Macintosh, but it didn't work flawlessly (showed only 10-12 first entries of the directory, sometimes it didn't work at all, replacing of files resulted in broken filenames) so I don't use it anymore. In 0.10.0 I read it is broken anyway. Is a version 0.10.1 of Raccoon in sight where WebDAV will be fixed? I'd appreciate it

Yes, a new version is in sight, but don't yet start holding your breath...
