Smile Controling camera in J2ME (I need some direction!)

I'm trying to make an application (a game actually), and it requires me to superimpose some 3D graphics (M3G) on to the camera video feed.

The M3G part is confusing, but I think I can manage. However, I am quite lost on the camera part, any suggestions or comments would be awesome.

    Thanks in advance!

(ps: Sorry if I have posted in the wrong section, I didn't know where to go)

By now, it's not possible to superimpose the video stream with any graphics.
JSR-234 has implemented such functions but there are no mobile phones available which support this library at the moment.

The 5th Edition of Series 40 phones will support it...

I read more about Advanced multimedia supplements, and it seems that only the latest Emulator supports it. But of course, it's no use if it doesn't work on a real phone.

Are there any alternatives? I think I'm screwed! =(

Workaround: take one image at a time from the camera and draw them sequentially on the canvas simulating a videofeed. You can draw on top of these images.

Also note that unless I am totally mistaken, the Series 40 5th Edition only supports Music and 3D Audio parts of the AMMS.

Thanks for your suggestion, I thought of that too while I was having a meeting with my school project supervisors.
It is a cheap trick, but anything to get the job done is a good trick =D
