Keyboard are not responding on E61i

    Hi guys,

I developer an application using j2me, while the application works for other Nokia including 9300 series, it never responded to E61i keypresses.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks.

How are you detecting the key presses?

With j2me polish, you dont need to try and detec key presses. (J2me Devices) It has a config file (device.xml) where you specify right and left soft keys and other key presses.

I believe E61i uses the stadard nokia-ui, however what I am not sure of is whether it uses a pdaapi, because, one has to include the libraries used by the phone in the config file.

I have been to nokia devices page and the pdaapi is not part of Nokia E61i libraries.

Am I missing something? Note, this same settings work with Nokia 9300, 9500.
