    Question SDK for Linux

Does anyone know if there is an SDK (ide is not required) to build C++ applications using Linux?

Everything I found requires Windows :( and cannot run with Wine (Carbide requires ActivePerl and ActivePerl does not install in Wine)

    Thanks in advance

There's no official SDK for Linux but you may want to have a look at this project: http://gnupoc.sourceforge.net/

    Re: SDK for Linux

Thanks, I've already seen it, and it seems abandoned (last modification date is in 2003 and now it is 2007 :gasp:)

One thing I've not mentioned is that I have an E61 phone that is S60 3rd edition and using Symbian 9.0, and afaik Gnupoc is stopped at Symbian 7.0

At least is there the possibility to just have libraries for Symbian 9 from one of the Windows' IDE and use them with an Arm Gnu toolchain?
I found the compiler, but I'm afraid it lacks of libraries. In this way it is useless.

As far as I know, this is most perspective (but unofficial) solution - Symbian development on Linux and OS X
