    jsr 179 and jsr 226 questions

    does the n73 support jsr 179 and jsr 226? jsr 226 is for svg right? it says http://www.svg.org/special/svg_phones that svg is supported on the n73. and if i want to get the cellID for the phone, do i have to connect it on a gps?

    Yes N73 does support JSR 179 Location API. And AFAIK, if your operator supports/provides location for a Java app, you dont need a GPS module. Else you may need a GPS module to get the locations.

    Yes JSR 226 is Scalable 2D Vector Graphics API for J2ME. And again AFAIK, N73 does not support JSR 226. But you could try with Tinyline http://www.tinyline.com/ In S60 JSR 226 is supported from S60 3rd Edition FP1 onwards.

    what are some phones that use the symbian 60 3rd Edition FP1? does n80 have jsr 226?
